How We Recruit
At the beginning of each semester, our chapter plans our rush week theme and events. We offer open meetings, fellowships, and volunteer opportunities for potential new members. New Member Education
Our chapter promises a fun and comprehensive new member education for every pledge. We at Alpha Phi Omega pride ourselves on having no incidents with hazing in the last decade. Our program includes weekly meetings, Big and Little assignments, and signature projects. To complete new member education, each pledge must pass the exit interview.
Initiation
At our final meeting of the semester, we hold our new member initiation. Littles are expected to perform the fraternity song and present decorated fraternity paddles to their Bigs at the ceremony. Each new member is given a tee-shirt with their new brother name after they are initiated into the chapter.
